About
Sensei Aaron Bui - founded Hakukyō-mon in 2024, in North Texas, after two decades building and running companies across five industries — finance, operations, education, association leadership, and private guidance. He spent those years close to how people move around money, family, power, and failure: what they avoid, what they repeat, and what it takes to change.
He studied the East Asian internal martial arts — Baguazhang, Xingyiquan, and Taijiquan — alongside Eastern medicine and healing at the Dragon Gate Sanctuary Institute in Hawaii since 1998. He is a practitioner, advocate, and teacher of Vipassana mindfulness meditation, and has lectured at colleges on its core methods.
A Taoist - Buddhist and lifelong student of philosophy, psychology, interpersonal dynamics, comparative religion, and spirituality — and, by temperament, a builder and architect, drawn to systems engineering and administration.
The four domains of the Hakukyō-mon method are not borrowed theory; they are the disciplines he has trained, lived, and formalized.
